Purpose of collection and processing
CODESYS Holding GmbH collects, processes, and uses your personal data exclusively for the purpose of checking your suitability for the position announced by our company and the application procedure.
Your data will be processed for purposes other than those mentioned only to the extent that such processing is permissible pursuant to Article 6 Paragraph 4 GDPR and is compatible with the original purposes.
 
Legal basis of processing
The legal basis for processing your personal data in this application procedure is primarily Article 26 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as amended on 25 May 2018. It permits the processing of data required in connection with the decision to establish an employment relationship.
Should the data be necessary for legal prosecution after completion of the application procedure, data may be processed on the basis of the requirements of Art. 6 GDPR, in particular to safeguard legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Paragraph 1(f) GDPR. Our interest is then in asserting or defending claims.

The data will be passed on to the following recipients (or categories of recipients)
Your data will be hosted by a provider in the course of order data processing in accordance with § 11 BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act). Both the CODESYS Group and the provider use technical and organizational security measures to protect your collected data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or against access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Your applicant data will be reviewed by the personnel department after receipt of your application. All applications are made available internally to each department manager. Then the next steps are coordinated. In the company, only those persons have access to your data who need it for the proper course of our application procedure.

Data sharing with other countries or international organizations
Sharing the data with a third country or an international organization does not occur and is not planned.
 
Duration of storage
Data of applicants will be deleted after 6 months in the event of rejection. In the event that you have agreed to further storage of your personal data with your consent, we will add your data to our applicant pool. There the data will be deleted after 2 years.
If you have been offered a position during the application process, the data from the applicant data system will be transferred to our personnel information system.
 
Right to information
You have the right to request confirmation from the controller as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed. Should data be inaccurate or no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, you may request the correction, deletion, or restriction of processing.
If the processing of your personal data is based on your voluntary consent, you can revoke this at any time in the future.
 
Your rights as the "data subject"
You have the right to information about your personal data that we process.
In the case of a request for information that is not made in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may then require proof from you that you are the person you claim to be.
Moreover, you have a right to correction or deletion or to restriction of the processing, insofar as you are legally entitled to do so.
Furthermore, you have a right of objection against the processing within the framework of legal requirements. The same applies to a right to data transferability.
